Artist Statement: "The fantastic Peacock! These elegant, mouth blown Cabernet Sauvignon wine glasses are hand painted with boldly colorful, fantastic peacock feathers. The colors range from deep blue to jade and aqua to purple with accents of metallic gold. These glasses are much more stunning in person than the photographs can express. Almost too beautiful to use, but I hope you do! As they are painted with a special non-toxic glass paint that has been heat-set for lasting durability. While the glasses are dishwasher safe, please gently hand wash when possible as these glasses are very tall and delicate.
These glasses would make wonderful pieces for a wedding, special birthday or just because you deserve to drink your wine in exquisite style. About the Artist: Painting on crystal stemware is just the latest medium for me. I've been doing something arts and crafts related since I was 9 years old and my mother taught me how to embroider. By the time I was 25 I had won several awards for my crewel embroidery pieces. When I became a mother I had no time to create anything other than a couple of humans with good hearts and characters.
