A tiny tile has 6 basic but original representations from artists including Andy Warhol. In small triumph for art within an enormous triumph for the worlds of science, the mini museum was attached to the leg of a lunar module on the moon, and has remain secret to the world until now.
That someone found it important enough, under peril of exposure, to represent the creative thinking of this blue planet is a testament to the power of art.
Art and science are as intertwined as the structure of a double helix.
