Ever since visiting the Victorian and Albert Museum in London I've been in love with functional art. My artistic career started out in traditional canvas painting. For decades I worked in oils and watercolors. I painted hundreds of traditional canvas paintings by the time I received my degree in Fine Arts in 2003 under the teachings of the President of the World's Archeology Foundation and an incredible painter himself with two pieces displayed in the Lourve. |

This hand-painted, white ceramic platter features an elegant skeleton key that makes a simple, but stunning statement.
Serve any and everything from sushi to cookies, or use it as a key or jewelry plate. Its black and white simplicity is a classic, timeless statement of functional art to be used however you please.
This antique platter is not a decal - it is china painted with very fine artist brushes and a steady hand. It is then heat set, providing a durable and dishwasher safe finish.
