My name is Salma and I have been a Henna Artist for about 13 years. For those of you who don't know what 'Henna' is, it is a natural and temporary tattoo of sorts. It lasts on average 2-3 weeks and leaves a beautiful reddish brown stain on the skin.
I was born and raised in Pakistan where Henna is a traditional art form done mainly for weddings and for celebratory purposes. I moved to Berkeley, Ca about 14 years ago and have been doing Henna Body Art ever since!
I am inspired by nature, and i view the world through a lens that is influenced by having grown up in a foreign country.
