	Debbie loves to make a gift that touches the heart. Gifts do not have to be expensive or large, most great gifts are seemingly quite small and insignificant to the casual observer. To give a gift that reflects your friendship, love, and respect, takes only your insight and a little guidance.

This is what Debbie likes to do with her work, draw upon your insights to conceive a gift worthy of giving, a gift that says “I know you…”

Over the years, Debbie has developed her skills in many different areas of arts and crafts. She was fortunate enough to have taken classes at Norm and Ruth Dobbins’ “Aliento school of Glass” in Sante Fe, NM, to learn her glass etching/carving skills. Debbie loves to paint, decoupage, and sew. In fact, she has taught arts and craft classes on and off for decades. 

Debbie now uses these skills to create art for her customers. Her business (Debbie’s Music Boxes and More!) has been in operation for eight years and started as a simple way to earn money for her daughter’s school and to use up her overstocked craft and sewing room supplies.  TA customer’s comment from that craft fair, “Oh, I would buy this music box if only the song was Tennessee Waltz, it’s my sister’s favorite”, started her on a journey of personalizing art that has left her with a variety of new skills and filled her with excitement for each new project.

Debbie makes music boxes with your choice of music, theme, and color. She etches glass of all sorts, from simple holiday ornaments to sun catchers with inspirational quotes or pictures. She has etched mirrors for children’s rooms and Social workers offices. She has etched coasters with pictures of the family dog, the beach vacation, a man’s favorite car, and a nature lovers favorite birds. Sometimes she gets to combine all her skills and makes music boxes with etched glass tops! Debbie makes toy boxes and stools - all musical. 

She loves finding unusual containers and adding music and movement to create whimsical pieces, as she did when she made a haunted (bird) house with music (Alfred Hitchcock’s old theme song), screams from the graveyard and a floating ghost! Each project has sharpened her skills, increased her knowledge, and introduced her to wonderful people who have erroneously claimed a lack of creative abilities. They soon discovered that with a little guidance they were able to create the gift they wanted to give, the gift that says, “I know you…”
