I stumbled across a stand selling Icelanic Poppies at my local farmers market. I'd never seen these flowers in person before and immediately fell in love with them. The delicate petals look like they are made out of tissue paper and the colors are fantastically vibrate. The deep reds in contrast with the bright pure yellows--these beauties are my new favorite flowers.
I've hand-painted this large bowl with non-toxic china paint which has been heat-set, making this bowl dishwasher safe! Perfect for serving salads, dinner rolls, pastas or as a fruit bowl. Or simply as an artful decorating statement in your home.
This bowl is dishwasher safe. But due to it's large size, it may be easier to clean with hot soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not soak the bowl overnight in water. Do not use sharp knives directly on the painted design.
The bowl is extra-large and has an artistic, organic shape so it isn't perfectly round. Its diameter is 15" inches across and is 3.5" inches deep.
