The pot is mostly unglazed and should develop a moss-like patina, after time when exposed to soil and moisture. This can also be avoided by cleaning occasionally with bleach. The pot is strung with 30 lb. test clear fishing line giving the hanging pot an almost floating appearance?Measures: 4.75 inches wide and 4 inches high.It is strung to hang about 28 inches from the top loop and additional line is shipped with the pot if you need to hang it lower.
