Jewelry artisan Mignonne Lemire lives and works in coastal Maine where she finds inspiration in the shapes and colors of the natural world that surrounds her.
A self-taught artist, Mig began her career coloring photographs for her father. She experimented with other mediums and was ultimately drawn to jewelry design and creation because of the creativity and challenge inherent in the craft.
More than a decade later, her work has evolved from simple designs into complex, unique pieces.
Mig works primarily with sterling silver wire using techniques that range from coiling and wrapping to chain maille. She then complements her silver pieces with Swarovski crystals, handmade lampwork beads, fused glass, and natural materials.
With jewelry that blends both style and craftsmanship, Mig has delighted customers in the United States and abroad. You can see many of her creations in galleries and jewelry stores, as well as in this online portfolio.
