Nancy F. Johnson is a San Francisco Bay Area-based artist who sells handmade jewelry made from unusual stones and beads to create one-of-a-kind handmade pieces of jewelry that evoke the spirit of Africa in any urban setting.
Turquoise and amber speak to the soul and restore balance on an energy level. This blending of the two stones is inspired naturally by Nancy's Black Indian heritage.
Nancy mixes jade, carnelian, amethyst, citrine, ametrine, lapis lazuli, onyx, agate, jasper, shell, tigers eye, and trade beads. Some beads are round, flat, faceted, oval, square, hexagonal, rough and smooth. Add sterling accents or spacers and you have a unique and beautiful piece of jewelry.
Over the years, Nancy Johnson has participated in the Oakland Artisans Marketplace, the World Music Festival, Caledonia Street Fair in Sausalito, Lakefest ’08, the Montclair Wine and Jazz Festival, Art and Soul, Something for Everyone, First Fridays, Rockfest 2008, the Marin Jazz Festival, and more.
