Victoria began her journey into Steampunk in 2008 when she wanted to buy some large gears to combine with her main art form, stained glass. The shapes, colors, and textures of the mechanical world drew her in and have not released her since! She is fascinated by even the tiniest parts of a watch or a clock; knowing that they can be combined to create something to measure the measure of our existence blows her mind sometimes.

What is Steampunk? In short, it is the desire to see beyond the exterior -- to see what is inside, what makes things tick. Or what makes the gears turn, as the case may be. It is the also the desire to investigate and experience the answer to the question, "what if."

The artist experiments with techniques and materials to create unique and fanciful pieces, which is why her jewelry ranges from hand hammered metal bracelets and rings, to PMC silver, pocket watch creations, and resin pendants. She has a glowing reputation and feedback history on her first marketplace site, Etsy under the user name DreamSteam, and encourages prospective buyers to go and read what others have had to say about their buying experiences with her there.

Although her pieces are almost always one-of-a-kind, she will consider trying to create items similar to those that people have purchased from her and enjoyed in the past if the materials are available to do so.
