Joanne has been painting with oils since she was 12 years old. During her early 20's she had the great fortune to study with Jan Valentine Saether from Norway and learned the techniques of the old Dutch masters. She is now an Art teacher specializing in oil painting techniques. "I love many styles of painting. Mandalas, Portraits, Landscapes, Imaginary Landscapes, still lives, nudes and abstracts. I find inspiration in nature, people, and moments". Joanne also creates handmade jewelry from natural stones, crystals and silver.
